DoNot Firestarter Android Malware is Using Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to Infect Devices: Cisco Report

A new malware loader called Firestarter from an APT group, DoNot, is reportedly leveraging Google’s Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google FCM) infrastructure to infect Android devices, an analysis by Cisco Talos cyber threat researchers said.
